Avenida Paulista

Paulista_avenue_1 The Avenida Paulista or Paulista Avenue in Sao Paulo, Brazil, was designed by the Uruguayan engineer Joaquim Eugênio de Lima, and it is the heart of this city. Some of the most beautiful areas in the city are mixed between the office buildings and the residential ones, like the Lieutenant Siqueira Campos Park. Across the Park, we find the Museu de Arte de São Paulo , with 74 meters ceiling and works from Renoir and Van Gogh, among many others. Heading Downtown from the Paulista Avenue, we find the Nossa Senhora da Consolação, Catholic church in Gothic style, featuring towers of 75 meters, beautiful paintings and incredible stained glass windows.
