The Pantanal

Pantanal_1 The Pantanal is the world’s largest wetland area, a flat landscape with some rivers, located mostly in the states of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, but theres also a part of it in Bolivian and Paraguayan territories.
The Pantanal floods during wet season, ending up with an 80% of the area under water, reason enough for having the world´s richest collection of aquatic plants.
