Barrio Antiguo

This is what they call the group of old houses located along several blocks behind the Metropolitan Cathedral, which have successfully survived the battle of time. They are protected by a decree issued in 1998, and have undergone much refurbishment. The old ones date back to the 17th century and belonged to the families that established themselves in this city.
