Avignon

Few pople realize that the pope's palace was relocated in the Middle Ages, the destiny was France.
The tourists can still visit the former seat of the papacy in the lovely southern city Avignon.

You can also enjoy the enchanting pedestrian shopping zones and the fabulous restaurants that there live. The narrow alleys open onto expansive plazas .

As the almost-constant sunshine warms you, wander the streets, popping into shops, stopping for a coffee or perusing art sold by street vendors.
