Xiangshui Temple

The name "Xiangshui" refers to the temple's famous echoing water. Erected in the Tang Dynasty (618-907), this Taoist temple features a 40-meter-long natural cave, from which a limpid spring flows. The water rushes down to the mouth of a green toad from a stone wall, emitting gurgling noises which reverberates in the valley. Chao Yang Temple and Guan Yin Pavilion are not far from Xiangshui Temple. Religious rites are often performed at these sites, which are worth sightseeing.
