Augustinerkirche has been the historic parish church of the Hofburg since 1634, founded by Duke Frederick the Handsome in 1327 for the Augustinian friars. A true landmark in Vienna, it was the scene of many Habsburg weddings, well known for its outstanding sacred music, specially for its weekly Sunday High mass with full orchestra and choir.
