vital signs
Leeds University researchers have developed a mobile phone which can measure the vital signs of a patient. This phone would aid the patients in monitoring their health and receiving advice and that too from the comforts of their couch. The patient could get details with regards to health data too.
The advantage of this phone is that it would cut down on the number of visit to the doctor’s clinic and hence save out on expensive medical bills. A prototype testing is about to begin with full fledged trials beginning next year.
